Restaurant marketing: fix discovery before you touch social

Discovery first

The majority of new customers arrive through a search for food near them and a glance at photos, ratings and hours. If the profile is incomplete or the reviews are stale, no volume of reels will compensate.

Then reviews

Recency and velocity matter more than a perfect average. Build the ask into service — at the bill, on the packaging, in the follow-up message — and respond to every review in a specific, human way.

Then social

Once discovery is solid, social becomes what it is good at: memory and craving. Short-form food video, consistent posting, and a monthly offer that gives people a reason to choose tonight.
